This blog will become an archive once everything is set up, so be aware!!!
((Considering moving blogs at the moment, I want to clear out some of my inactive followers so I can keep track of who’s active and who’s not, but I gotta think about the specifics first.
I think I’ll keep this blog but it will be an archive for old RPs so I can still go back and read them.
My next RP blog with Link would also be a side blog, so I’d ask questions for memes with anons, and do ooc messages with my personal blog. (I’ve been wanting to ask questions with my personal for a long time)
She nodded once more, transferring the little star to the regal woman’s outstretched hands. Watching her cradle and examine it, it made her heart warm slightly at the sight… but at the same time, it was pierced by melancholy and jealously. A touch like that… she hadn’t felt one of those for a long time.
The girl was snapped out of her reverie as the Luma was given back to her. She tried to copy the same touch, and the star child was obviously pleased, but not as content as it had been with Rosalina…
A shudder went down Flora’s spine as Baowba was mentioned. The fiend! Sparks of anger bubbled in her stomach, lips pursing in a frown. So, he’d done more than just kidnap Zelda? Unacceptable! Now she was convinced that this tyrant, no matter how powerful, had no right to rule.
“ …Link and I… We were sent into space by one of Baowba’s minions, but we have no way to get home, “
Flora muttered softly, before she raised her head respectfully.
“ … But we’re concerned with what’s at hand… and we wish to help
if at all possible. “
Rosalina nodded. “If I may ask for your help in gathering the Power Stars and defeating Baowba… Then I will help you return to your home. Is that an acceptable trade?”
Link nodded. “I’d say so. Baowba kidnapped my best friend… And I’m not just going to let him parade around and do whatever he wants.” Link clenched his fist. “I’m going to get rid of that tyrant once and for all!”
Rosalina smiled. “You have a strong spirit young one…” She raised her wand slightly. “Luki my child… Guide them to the location of the first Power Star.”
Luki nodded. “Yes mama.” He replied, settling himself down on Link’s head.
With a flick of her wand, Rosalina’s form began to fade, and her voice echoed in the air.
May the stars shine down on you…
Within moments, the cosmic mother disappeared. Luki hovered in front of the two of them, glancing between Link and Flora. “Okay you guys. So… If we want to get Power Stars, we need the power to cross space. We Lumas can give you that power.” Luki patted the baby Luma gently. “Baby Lumas’ power is a little weaker than grown up Lumas, but he should do.”
Luki floated above Link’s head. “Alright Link. I’m going to lend you my power. Are you ready?”
Link tilted his head. “Wait, what are you going to-”
Before Link could even finish his sentence, Luki shot up in the air, blazing a bright white color. The boy braced himself, covering his head with his arms as the Luma plummeted back down towards him.
She nodded in agreement. It seemed a fair deal- Rosalina didn’t seem to pose any threat, and there was no way the spectral ruler could be anything like the deep-sea witch they’d met last time…
“ We’ll do our best. “
Confused hues would blink as Rosalina began to fade, the words echoing behind leaving her with a slight chill of her absence. The Luma in her arms cooed its goodbye, snuggling up to the girl’s chest.
“ …She disappeared, “
Flora would murmur, not even paying attention to Luki’s first words before he approached the baby Luma. It seemed to bounce excitedly, but the girl was far from elated to hear Luki talk about the star child like a… a generator, of some sort.
“ Wait, what? What do you mean by power to-? “
Too late, he was moving on- quite literally. She shielded her eyes at the flash, a shocked cry drawn from her lips as it slammed down into Link.
Link covered his head with his arms just in time to feel a warm light enveloping his entire being. He barely even felt Luki crash into him, it was like he wasn’t even a physical creature anymore. The boy slowly opened his eyes, looking around for the Luma. He was nowhere to be found…
Link stood back up. “Luki…?”
“Link! Can you hear me?”
The boy jumped at the Luma’s voice, glancing around frantically.
“Don’t be scared! I’m talking to you telepathically!”
The boy tilted his head. “Tele-what…?”
“You can hear me inside your head when I’m in this form. Now listen…” The Luma continued. “Did you notice something different about you?”
Link wasn’t sure what the Luma meant by that, but his question was quickly answered when he looked down at his hands. They radiated a faint blue glow now, most likely from Luki’s power.
“Try spinning in a circle while waving your hands at your sides.” He hinted. “You’ll see what it is!”
Link was getting nervous now. What was going to happen? What if he did something wrong?
Sighing, Link did as he was told, preparing to spin. Upon doing so, he was met with a shocking surprise. From his hands came a trail of blue light and white sparkles, knocking the young hero onto his behind from the force of the spin.
Link sat up, opening and closing his hands, staring at them with wide eyes. “W-What was that, Luki?!”
